Kylen's Story
Ky is my guy! If you ask me, he's the best around! Ky makes me laugh with his nerdy wit, treats me like a princess, fixes all my tech and car problems...all while being so patient! Kylen gets me in every way! He’s an all American gentleman with the most perfect eyebrows I ever did see. Ky was born in Chicago, and grew up in central New Jersey. Being a huge sports guy, his teams reflect his origin including the White Sox, Cubs, Bulls, Bears, and Black Hawks. Kylen also has a growing appreciation for the AZ DBacks and Cardinals! As a talented photographer, he has an artistic side plus a scientific, genius side for which he uses to study engineering. The best of both worlds! My family and friends love him almost as much as I do! I can't wait to start our next chapter in life together. :)
Amber's Story
Amb is my Ma'am! Amber, also known as Babycakes, is just darn right fantastic. She is a brilliant and caring person, which is why she is probably the most capable up and coming nurse in the western hemisphere. Equal to her beauty is her talents as a baker, where her artistic soul mingles with her precise touch to create some of the cutest creations for her family and friends to feast on. My sweetheart has a big heart that loves all animals (that's why she is marrying me, lol), and if you take her to the ocean, you can see that her spirit belongs to the water. Even though this Arizona Girl has lived in the desert her whole life, she loves the water and she loves cold weather!!!
Our Relationship
Our first date was at Pink Spot, a coffee and ice cream shop (two of Amber's favorite things). We had a wonderful time talking, and it was the start of many dates thereafter! After a four-year courtship, Kylen popped the question in Hillsboro, NJ at the Duke's Estate during Amber's visit on Christmas break. After a 15 minute walk with a wind chill of 5 degrees, we walked into what seemed like an oasis...an 80 degree green house with orchids in full bloom. After we thawed out sitting underneath a wall of flowers, Ky, nervous with excitement, got down on one knee and looked up at the happiest girl in the universe. As a couple, we enjoy bowling with family and friends, taking leisurely strolls through Indian Steele park, visiting the beach, binging on our fave Netflix shows when assignments are due at midnight, cheering at DBacks baseball games, cooking meals together, and taking road trips with Krystal (Ky's Mustang convertible). Amber's 10-year-old pup, ZsaZsa, has wholeheartedly accepted Ky and loves to snuggle up between the two.
